I am not there；I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow， I am the diamond glints on snow， I am the sun on ripened grain， I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush， I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in the circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there ；I did not die . 幾年後，有位日本小說家兼吉他歌手為了紀念他一位英年早逝的好朋友每年會在他的忌 日哀悼懷念他卻常常無法把內心對他的感覺，適切的表達出來直到有一年有人把這首詩拿給他看時他才驚覺就是這種感覺.於是他就做了一首曲子，並且把歌詞翻成日文而且還製作成CD送人兼賣售直 到2006年日本當紅『紅白歌唱大賽』中，由木村拓哉朗誦，秋川雅史演唱 http://tw...youtube.com/watch?v=zFSZH5QTa7U 被他們一念一唱，賣了540萬張CD 幾乎日本人都耳熟能詳該篇文章的作者把這首詩翻成中文翻譯得非常雅緻，如下： 請別在我墓前落淚 我不在那兒 也沒有長眠 我是千陣佛面的清風 也是雪花上晶晶躍躍的靈動 我是澄黃稻穗上陽光的容顏 也以溫和的秋雨同您相見 當您在破曉的寧靜中醒來 我是疾捷仰衝的飛燕 在您頭頂飛翔盤旋 暗夜裡我是閃閃星眼 請別在我墓前哭泣 我不在那兒 也沒有離您而去
